PERMANENT JEWELRY

• How can I remove my Permanent Jewelry? Most permanent jewelry can removed simply by cutting the jump ring that attaches the two ends together with jewelry flush cutters, fine point scissors or even nail clippers in an emergency. This jump ring should have been pointed out when your jewelry was welded on. If you are unsure, please contact us for a free appointment to have your jewelry properly removed if you wish to have it reapplied in the future. Jewelry that is not properly removed may not be able to be reapplied without additional charge. We will reapply jewelry at no charge for that must be removed for medical or religious reasons at no charge (assuming it has been properly removed).
• How long does Permanent Jewelry last? Permanent Jewelry, when properly cared for, can last 7-10 years or longer. However, it is not indestructible, and in the case of sterling silver and 14k gold filled can stretch as it these are malleable metals. Sterling silver and 14k gold filled are can also discolor due to exposure to strong chemicals such as cleaning solvents, chlorine or even salt water. If this happens, use a mild soap & soft bristle brush (such as a toothrush) on the chain or connector to gently clean it. In most cases, the metal will come clean. Stainless steel should never discolor.
• My skin & chain has turned green around my chain, does this mean the chain is fake?! All chains sold by Miss Steff are purchased from reputable distributors. If your skin and/or chain is turning green (especially in the summer when you are more prone to sweat), it is most likely due to a natural phenomenon known as metal abrasion. Your body is a complex chemical system. When you sweat, the natural chemicals in your body come to the surface and can react with metals, causing temporary discoloration. This is normal, harmless, and not a reflection of the quality of your jewelry. These marks are temporary, they are harmless, they are easily washed away with soap & water, AND they are absolutely NOT an indication that your permanent jewelry is low quality or unsafe.

    • High humidity
    • Your personal skin pH
    • Lotions, perfumes & sunscreen
    • Medications & supplements
    • Diet & hydration
    • Hormonal changes

STICKERS

• Are stickers only available in the listed colors? No! Some stickers can be made in custom colors, but not all. Typically, if a sticker has more than one color in it, we are unable to change the colors. However, if it is all one color, we are able to change that to just about any color, especially if you can provide a Hex code. Please email misssteff@atladult.com for more info and pricing.
• Are stickers able to be used as bumper stickers/placed on cars? All glossy stickers are waterproof & can be placed outdoors. They will eventually fade in the sun. Holographic stickers are NOT waterproof and should NOT be placed outdoors or in areas where they may become wet.
• Are stickers available in additional sizes? Yes! All stickers are available up to a maximum size of 7.4″ x 9.9″. Please email misssteff@atladult.com for more info and pricing.
• Do you make custom stickers? Yes! Please email misssteff@atladult.com with details regarding your request. We reserve the right to refuse any request that may be illegal (for instance, if it violates copyright or trademark laws). A design fee may incur.
